First UK road legal electric rickshaw .

Maxpro finally got it. Recently released it's the first UK road legal electrically assisted pedicab-rickshaw at 60kg limit including the batteries. Designed by head of Maxpro (dipl.eng) mgr inz Jerzy Lozinski The pedicab is made from ultra light alloys. It's got 24V 250W Heinzmann motor and 17Ah sealed gel batteries.

There has been only two pedicabs produced so far and these will go through heavy duty trials for at least one year on the streets of London. It means that the earliest opportunity to purchase one of these will be summer 2009.
